Time flies when you are having fun... it's been a busy week, and while noting what I eat on a piece of paper is fine, I'm just going to have to sit down and blog it every day,  because getting 2 or 3 days behind means that I wind up procrastinating about posting online, which is why I'm now posting over a weeks' worth of meals... Bad girl!

The other thing is that when the stress goes up, my appetite goes down, which means that I wind up feeling cold again, and then I have to force-feed... eww.

Looking at the measurements, I have to do more lower-body work, because my thighs haven't budged :-( and I have to remember to eat. I did remember not to skip any meals (those were the times that I had some almond butter and carrots), but I know that the quantity wasn't enough, and occasionally, I was hungry, but it was after 2100, so I passed on a snack.

Other than that, all seems to be going well. I still feel pretty good, plenty of energy... just not much appetite these days. I'll do better this week with that, though. I may have to get more regimented in what I eat, and see how it goes.

Notes: For the first time, I was able to *see* the changes in my body in the mirror with a casual glance... *yay*!! I had seen the changes on the tape measure, but I couldn't see the difference in the mirror, unless I looked hard (the results of perfectionism, I suppose). *AND* I was working on something, and I noticed that I could see muscle definition on my forearms... something I hadn't noticed before... **WOW**
(Can you tell that I'm excited, lol!!)

Not to mention that I'm sleeping better, have lots more energy, and all in all generally feel great!!

Notes: I am noticing that if I make certain to eat the protein and *enough* vegetables, I am not tempted at all by the 'forbidden' foods out there. [Yes, even on 'cheat days'!] And, if I make certain that I have non-perishable, allowable snacks in my car, and my office, even if I don't get a chance to eat, I'm not tempted to eat the wrong foods. 

The only problem I'm having with this eating plan is not eating enough... sometimes, even with the exercising, I'm just not hungry enough to eat everything on my plate, so I have to force it. But I can tell when I am not eating enough, I start feeling cold again... so it's back to eating, lol!!! 

Coach Tran makes an excellent point about preparation... since I know that I am not at my best in the morning, it's better to make breakfast simple, and easily 'grabbable' - hard boiled eggs and fruit or vegetables. If I miss breakfast, it sabotages my efforts for the rest of the day. 

So I quit being cheap - I bought 1 dozen already boiled hard-boiled eggs, and if I wake up late, or have somewhere to go before my normal breakfast time, I'll grab 2 or 3, and pick up a piece of fruit along the way. 

Hopefully soon, I'll figure out what's up with my camera app; and photos will resume :-)

When I got hungry, I just grabbed a handful of blueberries or a peach and ate it... better than eating fast food, but still not optimal for the FFD phase that I am in. Because if I don't pay attention when I am busy, I will slip into eating fruit at the wrong times. This is another area to work on; staying in the moment :-)
